SCARBOn Public Report: Ground based FTIR Data

​We’re happy to share that the public version of the SCARBOn report Ground‑based FTIR data is now available.

​The report provides an overview of how the ground‑based FTIR measurements and meteorological data were collected during the SCARBOn Airborne flight campaign over the power plant in April 2026. It briefly describes the instruments used, the measurement setup, and the methodology applied during the campaign.

It describes how the data were processed and includes clear visualisations of the final results, showing the amounts of CO₂, CH₄, CO and H₂O present in the atmosphere during the campaign.

This report was prepared thanks to the great work of Filip Desmet and his colleagues (Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy).
