SCARBOn poster presented at IWGGMS-22

The SCARBOn project was presented at the 22nd International Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Measurements from Space (IWGGMS‑22), which took place from 29 June to 02 July 2026 in Bonn. The workshop focused on new developments in satellite‑based greenhouse gas measurements and how they support emission monitoring.

Our partner Laurence Croizé (ONERA) presented a poster showing recent progress on the SCARBOn system and its core NanoCarb instrument. The poster introduced SCARBOn’s work toward a small satellite constellation using the miniaturised NanoCarb spectrometer and the SPEXone aerosol sensor to provide accurate daily global measurements of greenhouse gases. It also highlighted improvements to the NanoCarb prototype and the space‑ready NanoCarb‑S design, which provide higher sensitivity and more reliable emission estimates.

The poster is available here: https://www.scarbon-project.eu/media/docs/en/IWGGMS_2026 or on the SCARBOn ZENODO:https://zenodo.org/SCARBOn_poster_IWGGMS22

Special thank you to Laurence Croizé (ONERA) and to all SCARBOn co‑authors for their contribution.
