INNOspace Masters 2026
The INNOspace Masters 2026 competition is now open, inviting innovative ideas that connect space and non‑space sectors. Organised by the German Space Agency at DLR with ESA, Airbus and leading industry partners, the programme supports high‑potential concepts that strengthen Europe’s space ecosystem. The German Space Agency (DLR) has established the INNOspace® initiative to advance innovation, promote technology transfer and open up new market opportunities. The competition INNOspace Masters welcomes ideas from companies, start‑ups, research teams, universities and individual innovators.
This year’s theme, "Engage on Earth, Unite in Space – Exploring Next Level Cross-Sector Innovations," is reflected in six challenges focused on:
- technology transfer between sectors
- support for early‑stage space entrepreneurship
- solutions that increase societal resilience through space assets
- cooperation between space and terrestrial industries
- mobility concepts inspired by space technologies
- development of autonomous end‑to‑end space capabilities in Europe
Submissions are open until 25 March 2026.
